Introduction: Project Background and Client Type
This project supports undergraduate students of Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering, particularly those preparing their thesis topics aligned with local development priorities. The client base includes individual students and student groups affiliated with Batangas State University and nearby institutions, who are interested in conducting spatial analysis studies rooted in real-world challenges faced by local governments. To bridge academic work with LGU initiatives, the Students Brain Boost Cooler curated a list of thesis title suggestions based on the Municipality of Rosario’s Local Investment Development Program (LDIP) 2022–2025. The titles were designed to integrate GIS-based spatial analysis using Rosario’s local administrative boundaries and validated hazard maps for floods, landslides, and earthquakes, in line with climate change adaptation strategies.
